ABOUT THE RADIOPICS DATABASE

"RADIOPICS" HAS NO CONNECTION TO ANOTHER WEBSITE WITH A SIMILAR NAME WHO HAS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TRIED TO HAVE "RADIOPICS" SHUTDOWN. (Nice one Janne!)

The RadioPics Database idea came about while trying to find better quality photos of Scanners & Radios for my personal database and finding that even the well known sites have some pictures that could be improved upon. After being asked by close friends to share the database with them, I soon realised that other people with the same interests as me might be wanting to find that elusive photo or to find a better quality photo to replace one they might have. and so "RadioPics" was born

If a photo has a link when you hover the mouse over it, then clicking on it will bring up the full sized image. (I try to keep the original size photograph whenever possible)

The Database is far from complete as there are a vast number of Radio Manufactures, and quite often a large number of products that each manufacturer has produced but I will try to keep the database updated as often as possible (a never-ending task, hehe!).

Please note that this is only my hobby and is being done in my spare time, so don't get upset if the radio you are looking for is not here, Instead, please drop me a mail about it, and I'll do my best to find it for you, and update the database accordingly so that we all can enjoy.

All listed items use internal links. In fact, all links are internal except a very few, well motivated external one's in a small number of areas.

WHAT YOU WON'T FIND: Common household radios for casual listening to local AM/FM broadcasts.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND: Radio Scanners,Shortwave Radios, Communication Receivers, Amateur Radios, CB (Citizen Band Radio), PMR (Private Mobile Radio) Miltary, Accessories, Oddities and Much more Radio related items.

On the main page, the numbers within parentheses indicate the number of items in each area.
